Make it Bespoke

Firstly I would like to say I would be delighted to discuss any ideas you have, as I know commissioning a bespoke piece is a highly personal experience and hopefully resulting in the creation of an heirloom to be passed down to future generations.

Over the first few weeks we will discuss gemstones, budget, metals, size, and shape, then I will create your drawings. After finalising the drawings, I will start on finding the correct gemstones, if needed and then begin making your piece of jewellery.

THE BESPOKE COMMISSION PROCESS

This initial consultation is completely free of charge, and the aim is to discuss initial ideas with you, explain what will be possible to do within your budget, and answer any questions at all you may have about the bespoke process before you can decide if you’d like to go ahead with the idea. Please be as detailed as possible, even if you feel you only have a vague idea of what you might want made. Include things you would like to see in your bespoke piece, whether it’s enamel colours, materials, gemstones, or a certain style.

If you would like to sell some gold from old jewellery items, please let me know and I can help you sell it, and then we can add that gold credit to your quote.

Then it will be a series of hand-drawn sketches, and then once the final drawing is accepted I will start the making the precious hand finished piece.

SUSTAINABILITY AND ETHICALLY SOURCED GEMS

At CASSIA jewellery we use 100% recycled gold, and Cassia buys gemstones from predominantly trusted suppliers that she has built-up long-term relationship with over the course of many years. Often these dealers are owners of mines or have family connections with mines.

CAN YOU PROVIDE A ROUGH PRICE?

After our initial consultation of what you might like to do and spend I can get you some idea of a rough price, but as the process starts things change and new bits might be added or taken away, so it is a rough price initially and oh yes the gold price is changing daily at the moment too.

HOW LONG WILL MY BESPOKE ORDER TAKE?

CASSIA JEWELLERY is handmade from start to finish. We want to make sure each piece gets the time and attention it deserves,

so please allow a 10-12 weeks just to be sure.

CAN I DO A GIFT WRAPPING SERVICE?

Yes! I have wonderful leather boxes which would be wrapped in ribbon, and then I use eco friendly paper packaging.

HOW DO I SHIP MY JEWELLERY?

All packages are sent by either Royal Mail Special Delivery or internationally with Parcel Force which is tracked and signed service.

CAN I RETURN A BESPOKE PIECE FOR A RETURN OF AN EXCHANGE?

Bespoke pieces are not returnable due to the custom nature of the sale.
